Letters of Change

A weekly space for happiness, self-trust & the art of living well

Hello and welcome Reader!

Have you ever found yourself in a role, a job, or a routine that once felt meaningful… but now doesn’t?

You might not be burned out. Nothing dramatic has happened.
And yet — something’s off. Something’s missing.
And the scariest part? You’re not even sure what you want instead.

This week’s letter is for those quiet moments between clarity and confusion — when you’re no longer who you were, and not quite sure who you’re becoming.

When the Outside Looks Fine — But Something’s Off

A few years ago, I was running a company I had built from the ground up.
Clients, results, income — it looked like success.

But deep down, something was quietly crumbling.

I had designed training programs that organizations loved.
But their employees — the real people — hadn’t chosen to be there.
I wasn’t speaking to them. I was helping systems, not humans.

And that misalignment? It grew too loud to ignore.

Eventually, I made the hardest decision of all:
I sold the company I’d built over ten years.
And I started again — this time, speaking directly to people through writing, coaching, and creating tools like the practice I'm sharing with you today.

It took time. I didn’t have a new dream waiting.
But I had a question:
What kind of work would make me feel fully alive?

That was enough to begin again.

A Gentle Invitation

We often think purpose arrives as a clear calling — a vision, a mission, a goal.
But more often, it grows quietly through seasons of learning.

You don’t have to know the title of your next chapter.
You only need to notice what this chapter taught you —
and what you’re ready to learn next.

As Carl Jung once said:

“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart.
Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”

The Practice: Career Map

This week’s tool helps you name and honor each season of your working life — and glimpse the one that’s beginning to form.

📍 The Career Map is a printable worksheet and visual exercise where you’ll:

  • Divide your life into meaningful career chapters
  • Reflect on the skills, lessons, and identity shifts in each phase
  • Envision the next step — not as a job title, but as a direction

You’ll discover that your experience is a path, not a patchwork.
And you’re further along than you think.

The next chapter isn’t something you need to chase.

It’s something you shape — from your values, your strengths, and your hard-won clarity.

It begins when you stop asking “What do I want to do?”
…and start asking,
“What am I here to learn next?”

Sometimes we stay too long in the wrong place —a job that quietly drains us,a routine that no longer fits,a version of life that’s long outgrown. Why? Because it’s stable. Familiar. Safe enough.
